Welcome Message Image

Dear Preschool Families,

Welcome back to a brand-new school year! We are so excited to begin another year of play, learning, and growth with your child. Whether you are returning to our preschool community or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our classroom family.

This year promises to be filled with exciting opportunities for exploration, creativity, and connection. Our classrooms will be ready, our teachers are energized, and we can’t wait to support your child to discover, question, play and grow in our inclusive environments whether you attend full or part day programming.

Through hands-on activities, songs and rhymes, stories, and collaborative play, we’ll be building the social, emotional, and academic foundations that will support lifelong learning, and ease the transition to FUSD’s kindergarten programs at our elementary schools.

In the coming days, you’ll receive more information regarding classroom assignments and routines, family engagement events, and whether we need any additional documents or information from you on behalf of your child. Communication between home and school is of the utmost importance to us. Now that we are settled and all systems are up and running after our main office and developmental preschool move to Copper Basin Elementary, we aim to respond to your inquiries within 24 hours. Please allow 48 hours for a response to our tuition-based full and part day programs.

Thank you for trusting us with your child. We’re honored to be a part of their early learning journey and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they will do this year.

Warmly,

Christine Burnett, M.Ed.

Preschool Coordinator

Our Vision & Philosophy

Our goal at FUSD is to provide quality programming that fosters each child’s social and cognitive development, communication, and physical health in a safe and supportive, nurturing environment.  This is achieved through good care and instruction that incorporates materials and interactions that provide a variety of learning opportunities that are both developmentally and individually appropriate and help each child reach their full potential.

The developmental preschool provides services to special needs students identified through Child-Find.

Just a reminder, if your child is attending our Developmental Preschool program (receiving special education services at MVA or the ECLC), you must register/re-register them at FUSDAZ Enrollment Page before they are able to attend with us in July. **Their registration does not automatically roll over from this year.**

If you have older children in the district, you will use your same login and add your preschooler.
