February is Love the Bus Month - Let's Show the LOVE!

As we say goodbye to January, we welcome a very special month! Did you know February is Love the Bus Month? Florence Unified School District is excited to celebrate the many caring individuals who help get our students safely to and from school every day.

Our FUSD Transportation team includes more than just bus drivers, it is the dispatchers, mechanics, bus aides, trip coordinators and SO MANY MORE who play an important role in making sure routes run smoothly and students arrive safely. Their work often starts early and happens quietly, but it makes a big difference for our families and schools. While we believe every month should be Love the Bus Month, February is a special time to say THANK YOU and show our appreciation. 

Families and students are invited to join the celebration in simple, meaningful ways, such as:

Writing thank-you notes or cards for bus drivers and transportation staff

Creating student-made drawings or posters

Offering kind words and smiles during morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up

Sharing small gestures of gratitude that show how much their work is appreciated
