Tech Tip Tuesday
February 11, 2025
Welcome to the next edition of Tech Tuesday Tips & Tricks. Every Tuesday, your EdTech Team will send you quick tips and tricks to help you with your everyday technology use. We will also link them to our Tech Hub in the Classroom by Design Website. If you need more in-depth training on a particular technology, please watch for when I am on your campus or email us (edtech@fusdaz.org), and we can schedule a time.

If you would like to see a particular tip and trick, email us with your suggestion or with something you’d like to learn, and we will feature your suggestion in an upcoming week!
How to Split your Screen
Splitting your screen is a useful way to productively work on your device. Below are some great keyboard shortcuts to split your screen efficiently. After a while, these shortcuts will become second-nature.
Option 1 - Snap a window to the left or right side
Windows key + left/right arrow
A Google Chrome browser window open to the Google homepage, with a search bar and various app icons.
Option 2 - Snap a window to one corner (or one-fourth) of the screen
Windows key + left/right arrow then up/down arrow
A computer desktop with a Google Chrome browser window open, showing the Google homepage.
Option 3 - Make one window full-screen
Windows key + up arrow until the window fills the screen

A Google Chrome browser window with a light blue background, the Google logo, a search bar, and icons for various Google services.
Option 4 - Expand a quarter-window to a half-window
Windows key + up/down arrow

Security Tip of the Week
A computer screen displaying a Norton AntiVirus advertisement with a security update notification.
Suspicious Pop-ups?
Ever see pop-ups on your computer that look suspicious? These are just malicious notifications from a website.

It’s a trap! Don’t click on these notifications, just put in a Technology Workorder Request to let someone from the tech team help block and report the website it came from.
